Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase and wish to return it, please call customer service at 248-538-8429 to confirm.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.  Exceptions include but are not limited to Special Order items/Custom items, hygienic and sterile items (e.g. bandages, dressings, commodes, shower/bath chairs). Most items can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date, provided they are in resalable condition, new, unused and in the original retail packaging, and, if applicable, in their original sealed internal packaging, and have all documentation, warranty cards, manuals and accessories. 

When To Expect Refund  

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). 

Restocking Fees

Some items are subject to a restocking fee.  Large items such as: Lift chairs, Power Wheel chairs, and Rolling walkers, require a mandatory 20% restocking fee.  

Shipment of Returns

You must arrange for shipment of the product(s) on your own. Please use a service that provides tracking such as FedEx or UPS and retain the tracking number until the credit has been issued. This will be your proof of return. In some cases, for an additional fee, the supplier or Midwest D.M.E. Supply can arrange for the product(s) to be picked up from your location or provide a prepaid return shipping label. For all returns, other than defective product(s) or erroneously shipped items, you are responsible for the delivery and return shipping costs.

We recommend that you fully insure your return shipment in the event that it is lost or damaged, and that you use a carrier that can provide you with proof of delivery, since Midwest D.M.E. Supply will not be responsible for any losses or damages during return shipping.  Before returning any product(s), you must first obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number; no returns will be accepted without an RMA number.

Midwest D.M.E. Supply reserves the right to reject a refund if requirements are not met.


We can ship to virtually any address in the United States. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to certain destinations.  When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
